Where to Buy Funko Pop Online Using PayPal in the Philippines?

The first time I was introduced to Funko POP is when a friend of mine shared a photo of Eve and Wall-E together. At that moment, I fell in love with those cuties! So, I immediately liked FUNKO Facebook Page, searched about Funko POP (category of POPs available), joined local Funko POP Facebook Groups and lastly, searched for a website or fan page wherein I can buy them immediately using Paypal. The latter part was hard.

Finding an online store that sells the Funko POP you want and takes Paypal as a mode of payment was not easy. There are a lot of traders online but most of them prefer bank deposits. Well, I don’t blame them. A lot of scammers are using Paypal and the fact that you can’t use your cash immediately is something most people won’t prefer either.

Luckily, I found several sites that sell Funko POP and accepts Paypal as a mode of payment.

ABUBOT.PH

I got my first Funko POP from Abubot where I bought the regular Olaf at 550PHP and paid 150PHP for shipping. I used Paypal for settling the invoice in which everything was fast, awesome and cool. It took a few days before the package arrived.


NEWHAVENPH.COM (discontinued)

The second online store, where I got my Dancing Groot, Elsa, and Anna Funko POPs, is NewHavenPH. Though I was not able to buy the POPs through their online store, I got them via their Facebook Fan Page representative. So basically, I still bought it from them, right?

Anyway, I paid for the POPs and also the shipping fee using Paypal too. The transaction was smooth and fast. On the next day, they shipped my orders and after another day, I got my orders safely inside a box. Aside from that, I wasn't expecting that each POP I ordered comes with a free box protector. It was really an awesome surprise!


There are many other online stores (or Facebook Fan Page Stores) wherein you can order Funko POPs online using Paypal as a mode of payment here in the Philippines but since I don't have any experience with them yet, I am not including them here. I will just update this list once I’ll be able to buy Funko POPs from them.

Update: I have new Funko Pops. Will blog about them soon.

 The image used is a recently taken photo. The boxes have visible damages due to ceiling leakage in our home. When I received them, they were in good condition except for Olaf. His nose poked through the plastic.

    These are so adorable! We saw a lot of them one time at Fisher Mall. There were so many collectors, too!

    I'm not sure if my kids know these funko pop, but I sure don't. They haven't told me about these toys and we haven't seen any in shops.

    first time to hear about funko pop, while reading I was wondering kung ano yun. nung nakita ko sa pic, ah yun pala yun. they're cute but I don't collect it. good thing you can buy online through paypal.

    My daughters and I collect Funko Pop as well. I was contemplating on buying them online but I noticed that the online sellers charge a little more than Big Boy's. There is a wide selection in their store near us so that's where I buy.

    I've never heard about funko pop before but since this has something to do with paypal, I just like to share my "frustration" of some sort to their service. I requested to update my last name from single to my married last name and it literally took a month for them to update it. sigh! :sad:

    Funko POP, Paypal and the online stores mentioned here are in no way associated with each other. I am a Funko POP collector who buys from these online stores using Paypal. I prefer Paypal because I am an online worker and my salary goes through them. :smile:

    About your predicament, I am sorry to hear about it. I think that it would be easier for you to open a new Paypal account with your married name rather than waiting for them to change it. Well, that is only a suggestion. You can still opt to wait for them. ;-)
