It's almost eight years since I had my first Postcrossing Meet-up in Manila. I wasn't able to attend the next few meet-ups after that due to financial constraints. Luckily this year, a Postcrossing Meet-up was organized here in Cagayan de Oro, my hometown. Thanks to Jonathan Blaza, an avid postcrosser himself from Manila, who came and took a vacation here. Abigal who is from Bukidnon came to Cagayan de Oro City just for the meet-up and so as my long-time blogger friend, Mommy Arlene, of Iligan City.

So when March 9, 2018, came, six of us met at the SM CDO Downtown Premier Movie Lounge. We had fun talking and catching up, especially with Jonathan who I haven't seen in person since 2011. I came with meet-up postcards to be signed by those who were present, but the others gave out a lot of goodies. It was overwhelming I went home with a bunch of postcards and a Kaamulan Doll. Thank you, guys! I am really grateful. Hopefully next time I can bring goodies to share as well.
Since we started a bit late, we haven't had much time to talk more. We had to go home because most of the places are already closed. Though we ended up early, as postcrossers, our hearts were filled with happiness! I am very glad that I attended!
There will be more postcrossing meet-up in the future. Not particularly here in Cagayan de Oro City but in other places here in the Philippines. Hopefully next time, I will be able to attend.
